Happy day everyone! Today is such a beautiful day because we got the opportunity from God to live another day out all for His glory! I feel sometimes we don’t even realize or think of being alive as a gift. For example, waking up in the morning and the first thing we go to do is grab our phones (well, for me it was) and it is not a bad thing, but as one of my awesome youth leaders has told me before, just when you wake up and are still half asleep, for 5 minutes lie down and talk with God. Just pray HE starts your day in a joyful mind set and thank him for another chance of waking up in the morning. It can be at night, waking up early in the morning to do a devotional, reading the bible on your phone while working out on the treadmill (I know that’s a little different, but hey it’s making time for the ONE).
So, the next morning or day you wake up and think “ughhhh it’s Monday, now it is the worst day ever.” Think of it as I am alive, praise the LORD for my trails and joy and also as having another opportunity from GOD to share about him!
So everyone, the next time you are in a bad mood or wake up on the wrong side of the bed situation, STOP… and think… wait a second hallelujah! I am alive and the Great I am has gave me another amazing day to live! Sometimes my human flesh makes me want to keep being angry or sad over things, but I just have to stop and realize the incredible things God has done and will do.
I admit it is so hard for me to try to give time to HIM sometimes because I will choose my phone over a minute of bible reading, but I challenge you all to wake up without grabbing your phone or thinking of how terrible your day could be and now wake up and thank the Prince of Peace for another day and another opportunity along with it.
